RV Leak Detection in Phoenix, AZ

Water runs sideways. A stain above the dinette can start at a marker light three feet away, and chasing the stain instead of the entry point is how people reseal the same rig twice. We work the roof, the seams, the windows and the slide seals in order, find the actual path, and tell you what has already been damaged along the way.

Water Runs Sideways

The single most expensive assumption in RV ownership is that a leak enters directly above the stain. It rarely does. Water gets in at a roof seam, a marker light, a window frame or a slide seal, then travels along framing until it finds somewhere to pool or drip. A stain over the dinette can start three feet away at a clearance light.

Chasing the stain is how people reseal the same rig twice and still have a wet ceiling.

Working It in Order

We work the roof first, then seams and edge trim, then windows and slide seals, and we look at where the water would have run rather than only where it showed. The second half of the job is telling you what has already been damaged along that path, because saturated decking and delaminated wall panels do not dry out and recover.

What follows is usually reseal and decking work, sometimes panel repair where a wall has delaminated, and occasionally slide seal replacement. Detection itself is straightforward to do on site.
